What is TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform)?

TIGER is focused on education reform and interprofessional community development. The spirit of TIGER is to maximize the integration of technology and informatics into seamless practice, education and research resource development.

TIGER advances the integration of health informatics by:
Enabling the interprofessional clinical workforce to use informatics and technology to improve patient care
Fostering a learning health system

The TIGER Initiative began as a grassroots program in 2006. Effective September 22, 2014, TIGER transitioned to HIMSS.
