What is TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform)?

TIGER is focused on education reform and interprofessional community development. The spirit of TIGER is to maximize the integration of technology and informatics into seamless practice, education and research resource development.

TIGER advances the integration of health informatics by:
Enabling the interprofessional clinical workforce to use informatics and technology to improve patient care
Fostering a learning health system

The TIGER Initiative began as a grassroots program in 2006. Effective September 22, 2014, TIGER transitioned to HIMSS.

Fall TIGER VLE Webinar Series
We are in the process of finalizing our fall webinar offerings. Look out for announcements via email and in our bi-weekly TIGER eNewsletter.

To access archived VLE webinars, simply log into the VLE and go to the top navigation tool bar. Under the Events tab, a dropdown option will display that lists previously recorded webinars.

Effective August 20, 2015, CAHIMS/CPHIMS credit now offered for attending live VLE events (1 hour per webinar).
